11:00 a.m. - noon Make a Wampanoag-style Slate Pendant

Join our Native museum teachers to make yourself a Native-style stone pendant. Participants will chip slate into shape, inscribe a design of their choice onto the stone, and walk away with a meaningful and unique piece of jewelry. Materials fee, $6.00

Noon - 4:00 p.m. Games in the 1627 English Village

Who said that the Pilgrims never had time for fun? Join an English colonist or two and play authentic games such as Cobb's Castle and walking on stilts! Free with admission

1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Colonial Reading and Writing

Did you know that the Pilgrims were homeschoolers! Since there was no school in Plimoth Colony, families that wanted their children to learn to read, and maybe even write, taught them at home. In this hands-on workshop, children will make a 17th-century-style "waste book" (notebook) and learn to write with a quill and ink. And the best thing is, you get to take the book and the quill home with you! Materials fee, $6.00.

2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Worship in Plymouth Colony: An Interactive Program about 17th Century Services

Become part of the congregation, as guests are encouraged to follow the drumbeat to the Fort/Meetinghouse, for this brand new half-hour program providing visitors with a brief representation of early colonial worship in Plimoth Colony, led by and English colonist. Free with admission.
