Information
Approximate Travel Times
Take Route 93 South to Route 3 South. Take exit 4 (Plimoth Plantation Highway) off Route 3. This is a left exit. Continue on Plimoth Plantation Highway for approximately 1 mile and take the exit for the museum. At the end of the exit ramp turn right, and proceed up the street for 20 yards. Turn right at the sign for the museum into the driveway. At the stop sign at the end of the driveway, cars and campers should turn left and park in our main lot or overflow lot. Buses, RVs or visitors with handicapped plates should turn right and park in the bus parking lot.
For Mayflower II:
Mayflower II is moored at the State Pier in downtown Plymouth, about three miles north of Plimoth Plantation.
From Boston take Route 93 South to Route 3 South. Take exit 6A off Route 3. Follow the exit ramp to the right, which puts you on Route 44 East. (You will quickly have to move into the middle lane to avoid the entrance ramp to Route 3 North). Stay on Route 44 East and cross Route 3A. You are now on North Park Avenue. Continue on this street to the small rotary. You don't need to go around the rotary; just take the first right onto Water Street, and go straight about 3 blocks or 1/8th of a mile until you see the ship on your left. Metered parking is available on the street.
Please note that there is no direct exit to the museum from Route 3 North. You must reverse direction at exit 5 to go on Route 3 SOUTH.
Take Route 3 North to exit 5. At the bottom of the exit ramp go left (under Route 3). Make a right onto Route 3 SOUTH. Immediately take exit 4 (Plimoth Plantation Highway). This is a left exit. Continue on Plimoth Plantation Highway for approximately 1 mile and take the exit for the museum. At the end of the exit ramp turn right, and proceed up the street for 20 yards. Turn right at the sign for the museum into the driveway. At the stop sign at the end of the driveway, cars and campers should turn left and park in our main lot or overflow lot. ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS from Providence area:
Take 195 East to Wareham. Take 495 North to Carver. Exit onto Route 58 North. From Route 58 North, take Route 44 East. After entering Plymouth, take Route 3 South to exit 4 and follow signs to the Plantation (same as above).
For Mayflower II:

Public transportation in Plymouth is currently under redesign. We at Plimoth Plantation strongly urge our guests to rent a car for their visit to Plimoth Plantation and Mayflower II. If a one day car rental is not an option then listed below are the most up-to-date resources available.
Mayflower II is part of our living history museum. She is moored at the State Pier in downtown Plymouth directly accross from 74 Water St., about three miles north of Plimoth Plantation. To get there from Plimoth Plantation, go through the upper Main Parking lot to the road directing you to Route 3A. At the Plantation gates, turn left onto Route 3A North. Stay on Route 3A for about 3 miles. Turn right onto Water Street between Reliable Cleaners and Stevie's Pizza. Mayflower II is docked at the State Pier about 1/8th of a mile on the right.
Visitors may park in the designated crescents or the public metered parking areas. There are also pay parking lots on Water or North Streets.
The drop-off/pick-up area is the designated crescent on Water Street in front of the Plimoth Plantation Waterfront Shops, just north of Plymouth Rock. It is about a 3-minute walk to Mayflower II from this area.
Parking for motorcoaches is in the East Bay Grill Restaurant "Bus Parking" lot, located 200 yards north of the Route 44/Town Wharf rotary.
