Plimoth Plantation is offering Special February Vacation Programming February 15-10, 2010. Plimoth Plantation will reopen for the 2010 season on March 20, 2010. Make plans to celebrate spring at Plimoth Plantation!

Dates and Hours of Operation 2009

Plimoth Plantation is open March 21 through November 29, 2009, 7 days a week.

The museum has two separate locations:

  • The Plimoth Plantation location is 3 miles south of downtown Plymouth
  • Mayflower II is on the Plymouth waterfront

Hours of Plimoth Plantation:

  • Henry Hornblower II Visitor Center is open from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
  • Exhibit in the Visitor Center: Thanksgiving: Memory, Myth & Meaning is open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Crafts Center is open from 9:15 am to 5:00 pm
  • 1627 English Village is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • the Wampanoag Homesite is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • Nye Barn is open from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm
  • The Museum shops in the Visitor Center and Crafts Center are open through
    November 29th.
  • Starting November 30th, the Museum Shops in the Visitor Center will be open 9:00-4:30 daily and through NOON on December 24th.

Hours of Mayflower II:

Mayflower II and dockside exhibits are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Admission Rates and Ticket Purchase Information:

The museum has two separate locations:

  • The Plimoth Plantation location is 3 miles south of downtown Plymouth
  • Mayflower II is on the Plymouth waterfront

Tickets are available to:

  • Visit both locations (Combination Ticket)
  • Or only the Plimoth Plantation location (Plimoth Plantation Only)
  • Or only Mayflower II (Mayflower II Only)
To purchase tickets, you may:
  • Go to our Online Ticket Booth to purchase advance tickets.
  • You must complete your purchase at least 3 days in advance of your visit to the museum. Your tickets will be waiting for you at the ticket desk on the day of your visit.
  • Or buy tickets when you arrive at the museum

For your convenience on busy holiday weekends, we recommend buying advance tickets to avoid waiting in long lines at the museum.

Combination Ticket:

Includes admission to both museum locations detailed below.

Plimoth Plantation: (good for two consecutive days)

  • the Wampanoag Homesite
  • Visitor Center featuring Thanksgiving: Memory, Myth & Meaning exhibit

Mayflower II: (good for any one day within one year of purchase)

Children 5 and under are free unless booked as a school group.

*The Plimoth Pass = 2 adults and up to 4 children (6 - 17). Plimoth Passes are NOT available for online purchase and must be purchased at Guest Services.

Important Ticket Information:
Please note that your combination ticket can be used at the Plimoth Plantation location for two consecutive days, and is also good for a third day at Mayflower II within one year of purchase of your ticket.

Ticket Sales Information:
Ticket sales at Plimoth Plantation stop at 4:30 pm. Please allow at least three hours to visit all the sites at this location.

Ticket sales at Mayflower II stop at 4:45 pm. Please allow at least 45 minutes for a visit to the ship and dockside exhibit. Mayflower II is located three miles north of Plimoth Plantation so please allow time for driving and parking.

To purchase advance tickets, go to our Online Ticket Booth. Tickets must be purchased at least 3 days in advance of your visit.

Plimoth Plantation Only:

Includes admission to all sites except Mayflower II for two consecutive days, including:
  • 1627 English Village
  • the Wampanoag Homesite
  • Visitor Center featuring Thanksgiving: Memory, Myth & Meaning exhibit, the new orientation film, "Two Peoples, One Story," produced by the History Channel
  • Crafts Center
  • Nye Barn
