There are always a variety of special projects that need your support. Here are a just a few examples of Plimoth Plantation’s current and future special projects schedule:

  • Programming at the new Colonial Education site, featuring two of the houses used in PBS's Colonial House series to teach students and families about colonial history
  • “Rare Breeds Club” for kids (and goats)
  • House building at the Wampanoag Homesite and the 1627 English Village
  • New research and support for 17th-century agriculture and horticulture
  • Colonial military drills, training and historical weapon maintenance
  • Field trips and classroom visits for schools in need
  • Staff training and onsite accessibilty for visitors with special needs
  • New catalogs and publications to further scholarship in 17th-century history
  • New educational videos, CD Roms, website and online initiatives
