Celebrating 75 Years of Living History at Plimoth Patuxet Museums

Dive into the history of a living history museum and discover the fascinating story and vision of the Museum’s founder, Henry Hornblower II.

Thanks to the generous support of the Bridge Street Fund, the July, August, and September 2022 Members-Only programs (offered in person and online) are free and open to the public.

Typically exclusive to Plimoth Patuxet Museums members, this month we invite everyone to join the Museum for our monthly virtual/in-person program that offers a deeper look into topics relating to 17th-century New England. 2022 marks the 75th anniversary of Plimoth Patuxet Museums, and in this month's program Tom Begley, Director of Collections and Special Projects will share the fascinating story and vision of the Museum’s founder, Henry Hornblower II. Through seldom seen archival materials, Begley will highlight the Museum’s growth from a single, reproduction Pilgrim home to an internationally recognized museum, celebrating 75 years of living history.
