Plimoth Virtual Cinema
Welcome to Plimoth Virtual Cinema!
While we wait to reopen our doors, we have found a way to bring you the curated independent and foreign films that you love by joining with four independent film distributors to make their latest films available to you directly through Plimoth Cinema. These are films that the distributors had expected to open in theaters this month but they are helping to support Plimoth Cinema and other independent cinemas by offering their latest films online through the theaters and splitting the proceeds 50/50.
You can watch these films on any internet-connected device, including Smart TV’s, HDMI connected laptops, tablets, smartphones, AppleTV, Chromecast, and others.
In THE WHISTLERS, not everything is as it seems for Cristi, a police inspector in Bucharest who plays both sides of the law. Embarking with the beautiful Gilda on a high-stakes heist, both will have to navigate the twists and turns of corruption, treachery and deception. A trip to the Canary Islands to learn a secret whistling language might just be what they need to pull it off.
