Speaker Bio
Tim Turner (Cherokee Nation) is the Director of Indigenous Education & Training at Plimoth Patuxet Museums. Tim began his career at the Museum in 1987 and has held various educational roles at Plimoth Patuxet from Interpreter to Guest Experience Manager of the Historic Patuxet Homesite. In his current position, Tim splits his time between hosting educational outreach programs for young learners, mentoring his colleagues, and working closely with the Museums’ Deputy Director of Education and & Public Engagement. In 2017, Tim was the Plimoth Patuxet Hornblower Award recipient for his dedication to the Museum and commitment to teaching Indigenous history and culture.
