Homeschool Adventure: Make a Garden Grow

How does your garden grow? In this program, we will explore the 17th-century gardens of both the Wampanoag people and the English colonists. From Indigenous companion planting to English humoural gardens to the formal grounds of our museum's former 19th-century Olmstead-designed estate, we will visit our sites to study and work with the elements of these landscapes. During the program, we will use what we have learned to make seedling gardens of our own to take home.

This program is best suited for learners ages 8+. All children must be accompanied by an event ticket-holding adult at all times.
