Wampanoag people have practiced the art of finger weaving since time immemorial; weaving bags and baskets for carrying and storing goods, belts and legging ties to secure clothing, and mats to cover and insulate their homes. In this introductory workshop, participants will be introduced to the basics of strap weaving, and will get to create their own unique design to take home.
