Honoring a Community of Support: Plimoth Patuxet Museums Celebrates Its Members
Member Appreciation Day highlights the generosity of those who help keep history alive
Plymouth, Massachusetts (June 16, 2026) –Plimoth Patuxet Museums is proud to recognize and thank its valued members during Member Appreciation Day on Tuesday, June 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This special event, featuring unique perks and summer fun, is dedicated to celebrating the individuals and families whose continued engagement helps sustain the Museum’s mission, programs, collections, and educational experiences throughout the year.
“Plimoth Patuxet Museums’ members play an essential role in advancing our educational mission,” said Tom Begley, Executive Director. “We look forward to celebrating and recognizing our members for their generosity on this very special day.”
Throughout the day, members can visit the Welcome Table in the Visitor Center Lobby where they will receive a member sticker, enter a giveaway for a chance to win a free year of membership, and pick up a scavenger hunt that encourages exploration across the Museum’s historic sites. Additional activities include live music by acclaimed local musician Abby Vail, lawn games, an ice cream social, polaroid photo-ops, and more.
Member Appreciation Day is free for all current members. Those interested in joining the Museum community are encouraged to become members today and enjoy a year of benefits while supporting the Museum’s educational mission.

Plimoth Patuxet Museums is open seven days a week, 9 am - 5 pm, now through the Sunday following Thanksgiving Day.
