Plimoth Patuxet Museums Celebrates the Season with ‘A Magical Family Matinee’

Program will feature a screening of The Addams Family

Plymouth, Massachusetts (October 6, 2026) – Plimoth Patuxet Museums invites the community to a delightfully kooky family matinee at Plimoth Cinema. On Sunday, October 25, 2:00 to 4:00 pm, the Museum will present a special seasonal screening of The Addams Family.

In the spirit of Halloween, children are encouraged to attend the event dressed in their favorite costumes and enjoy a festive treat bag during the movie. With its memorable characters, playful humor, and wonderfully weird family dynamics, The Addams Family will be an entertaining film for audiences of all ages.

“Events like this are a great opportunity for families to come together, celebrate the season, and enjoy a shared, joyful experience as a community,” said Tom Begley, Executive Director. “We’re delighted to welcome families to Plimoth Cinema for an afternoon of costumes, laughter, and a beloved Halloween classic.”

This program is made possible thanks to the support of The Foundation for Creative Achievement. To learn more, please visit: https://plimoth.org/events/a-magical-family-matinee-the-addams-family-screening
