A Summer of Music Series - July & August Gallery
With support from the Town of Plymouth Promotions Fund and the Visitor Services Board, every other Tuesday in July and August, Plimoth Patuxet transformed into a vibrant gathering spot, showcasing talented performers from the South Shore and Cape Cod.

The first months of 2025's Summer of Music Series & The Best Night of the Week has achieved record-breaking attendance with more than 250 guests to date! This year's series has welcomed back local favorites Abby Vail; Jessi Kenney; award-winning singer and songwriter, Kim Moberg; and multi-Grammy nominated trailblazers of the Thump & Soul sound, The GroovaLottos to the Museum every other Tuesday in July and August.

The series premiered in 2023 to create opportunities for Indigenous performers from throughout the Eastern Woodlands region to connect with diverse audiences through low-cost programming. Over the years, it has grown into a showcase of local South Shore and Cape Cod talent who come to the Museum for community-filled evenings at the Best Open Air Museum
in the US and Plymouth County's premier living history organization.
The continuity of the musicians each summer, paired with Plentiful Café's clay-oven pizza, an offering of lawn games, and Plimoth Patuxet's idyllic setting and beautiful view, has created a biweekly tradition at the Museum thanks to support from the Town of Plymouth Promotions Fund and the Visitor Services Board. If you've not had a chance to join us for a Tuesday evening, you're in luck, as the Museum will welcome back Mike McHugh on September 9th and Jessi Kenney on September 23rd! We invite you to join us for a seaside evening full of musical celebration and a whole lot of fun.
