Holiday Magic at the Museum: The Polar Express Pajama Party and Screening
Families in the community were invited to get into the holiday spirit at A Magical Matinee – The Polar Express Pajama Party and Screening on December 15th. Generous support from The Foundation for Creative Achievement made this program possible.
The young and young at heart joined Plimoth Patuxet Museums for A Magical Matinee – The Polar Express Pajama Party and Screening on December 15th. Dressed in cozy pajamas with their golden tickets in hand—a nod to how the children travel on The Polar Express in the film—guests were welcomed by festive holiday characters before partaking in a hot cocoa and cookie station.
There's No Greater Gift Than Friendship
As the classic holiday film played on the big screen at Plimoth Cinema, many of the youngest film goers got up from their seats and made friends with each other underscoring what the holiday season is all about—connecting with family and friends, old and new.
Crotal bells feature prominently in the beloved holiday story of The Polar Express as they make a beautiful ringing sound that only people who truly believe in Santa Clause and the Christmas spirit can hear. As each movie goer departed from the special holiday program, they were gifted with their own magical bell to cherish this holiday season.
"You can't see the bells, but you can hear them if you believe."
