Grist Mill Grain Fest

Join us for Grain Fest at the Plimoth Grist Mill and let your curiosity pop with kernels of knowledge.

In the past, grains such as corn and wheat went from farm, to mill, to table. Today, the Plimoth Grist Mill works with local and regional partners to reinvigorate their production. At Grain Fest, you'll learn how you can be a part of the growing local grain chain while meeting farmers, millers, bakers, and other partners who grow and make things with grains.

Visit the Plimoth Grist Mill - in beautiful Jenney Pond Park - for an outdoor festival full of music, games, story time, and free samples of treats made with stone ground grains straight from the Mill. Don’t miss this chance to mill around with baker, author, poet, and musician, Jonathan Stevens (Northampton, MA). Stevens will be helping guests get hands on with grains, and signing his new book, The Hungry Ghost Bread Book: An Offbeat Bakery’s Guide to Crafting Sourdough Loaves, Flatbreads, Crackers, Scones, and More.

All outdoor Grain Fest activities are open to the public and free of charge. Admission is required for entry to the Plimoth Grist Mill's inside exhibits.
