The Winter Fair is an extraordinary showcase and marketplace of fine arts and craft. Held in the Museum’s Hornblower Visitor Center and other spaces around the campus, visitors will discover a festive and bountiful showcase of independent artists and makers, as well as hands-on demonstrations.

Plimoth Patuxet Museums is delighted to present the Winter Fine Arts & Craft Fair now in its second year. Building on last year’s grand success that featured 70 artisans, three live performance groups, and attended by more than 2,000 visitors from around the region, this year’s Winter Fair promises to be one of the most wonderful events of the season!

Tickets and Pricing

Admission is $5. Children under 12 are free. Tickets purchased at the door.

Cooking Demonstration by Sherry Pocknett

Join us for a special cooking demonstration by Chef Sherry Pocknett (Mashpee Wampanoag), the first Indigenous woman to be awarded the prestigious James Beard award. Owner of the celebrated restaurant Sly Fox Den Too, located in Charlestown, Rhode Island, Pocknett uses ingredients quintessential to the food ways of Native America, blending flavors and textures to create delicious dishes that excite the senses and honor a long history of Indigenous culinary practices. Pocknett will host a cooking demonstration at 2 p.m. on both December 7th & 8th.

Standing Quiver Singers

Standing Quiver Singers from Mashpee, Massachusetts, will present a powerful experience of Indigenous dance and song for audiences of all ages. The group will present three times a day on both December 7th & 8th.

Musical Guest

Also returning to this year's Winter Fair is Abby Vail from Plymouth, Massachusetts. Known for her acoustic guitar and beautiful songwriting, Vail sets the stage for a cozy pizza and s'more area at the Craft Center Pavilion.
