Plimoth Workshops: Sewing Sampler

Join Plimoth Patuxet to master a variety of stitches! Inspired by the centuries-old practice of using samplers to refine the skills needed to create and mend clothing, this workshop will take you through the steps one stitch at a time. All experience levels are welcome. Participants will also view the one-of-a-kind Plimoth Jacket™ and a surviving 17th-century sampler.

Materials and tools will be provided for in class use. Purchase the “Optional At Home Kit" if you would like to try this at home.
