Plimoth Patuxet Museums to Host Director and Pulitzer-Prize Winning Reporter David Abel
An October 19th program will showcase his latest documentary
Plymouth, Massachusetts (October 10, 2024) – Plimoth Patuxet Museums is pleased to host David Abel, director and Pulitzer-Prize winning reporter for The Boston Globe, for an evening event exploring his latest film, Inundation District, on October 19, 6 - 9 pm. This will be Mr. Abel’s second film event at the Museum, following June’s successful screening of his documentary, In the Whale.
The evening will begin in Plimoth Patuxet’s Gainsborough Hall where guests will enjoy a selection of wines and seasonal hors d’oeuvres. Directly following this gathering, guests will head to the Ruby Linn Theater for the screening of Inundation District. The documentary thoughtfully chronicles the struggle of rising water levels in Boston’s Seaport District. Following the film, guests will enjoy a Q&A session with Director David Abel.
