Plimoth Patuxet Museums Highlights History and Culture with Youth-Focused Events this February
Immersive experiences encourage curiosity, creativity, and meaningful connections
Plymouth, Massachusetts (February 5, 2026) – Plimoth Patuxet Museums invites young learners to explore history and culture through hands-on experiences offered during February Vacation Week. From culinary workshops and traditional craft sessions to interactive historical explorations, this year’s offerings highlight 17th-century life in Patuxet and Plymouth, as well as the enduring living traditions of the Wampanoag People, in engaging and meaningful ways.
“February Vacation gives us the chance to spark creativity and joy of learning in new ways,” said Kim VanWormer, Deputy Director of Education and Public Engagement. “Each program offers creative learning opportunities that bring history into greater focus and encourage cultural understanding and connection.”
The Museum will offer a diverse schedule of events designed for curious minds on February 14, and February 16 - 20. “We are pleased to offer this exciting roster of programs for young learners during February Vacation that will surely bring some warm, educational fun to this cold month,” said Tom Begley, Executive Director.
