The New Indigenous Program Building

Plimoth Patuxet is underway with plans and fundraising to expand the Indigenous site with new exhibits and spaces that will enable the site and staff to better tell the compelling story of profound change and cultural persistence in the Indigenous homeland in this region. The new building and cultural exhibits will reinforce the Museum’s commitment to being the world’s preeminent educational resource on the Native and Colonial history of this place in the 17th century and beyond.

The 1670 Warren House

Plimoth Patuxet has plans to construct a 1670 English house on the Museum grounds. For many in classrooms across America, the Wampanoag and Pilgrim story ends at the First Thanksgiving, but in fact, change continued to sweep through 17th-century America, brought about by English and Native communities in constant interaction. The 1670 Warren House is Plimoth Patuxet's path to further exploring the later half of the 17th century in historic Patuxet and Plymouth.

Mayflower II Restoration

Since 1957, an estimated 25 million people have stepped aboard Mayflower II—a full-scale reproduction of the original ship that brought the Pilgrims to these historic shores in 1620. You can help us ensure that the ship will be seaworthy for another 60 years and continue to educate and inspire future generations.
